We are so busy trying to improve ourselves that many of us only focus on what we still have to do to get to wherever it is that we want to get to.
And in doing so, we forget to realise just how important the little wins are in our life. The baby steps. The pennies in a jar that all add up to something greater.
So your goal for this week…
Make a note of your WINs every day (no matter how small).
Make a list of all the positive steps that you have taken to get you closer to your goal.
Whether that's increasing your weight on your squats, getting out the door for your run (despite you not feeling like it), managing to squeeze in a little movement whilst waiting for the kettle to boil or drinking a little more water than the day before. All these little steps make a difference.
Personally I'm so focused on the big goals that I forget to pay attention to what actually matters, baby steps.
Make a note. Be proud of your achievements, the big and the small. Success after all is a series of small wins.
Remember that what you do today can change all of your tomorrows.
