Glute max is the largest muscle in the body which is used when we jump, run, walk fast, squat, stand up from a sitting position, climbing the stairs, etc. Basically it's used a lot and we need power in these muscles. So any problems with these muscles can cause pain in the tailbone, the lower back, the Sacroiliac joint and the butt itself. It can also have a knock on effect with our biomechanics which can then lead to other issues within the musculoskeletal including shoulder issues.
